What would you ask the owners?

What would you ask the owners?

For so much of the past 12-24-months or so various people, and groups, have been demanding the chance to put their questions to the clubs owners over this time.

These calls have proven successful, to a degree, with various fans forums held and information gained although usually it was the monkey being spoken too and not the organ grinder - I cannot think of a better analogy than this to be honest, I mean no offence to any person(s) mind!

CSI have come in and the same requests are being asked of them...

In an unusual approach, assuming that this genuinely is a CSI facebook page - sorry if it sounds like I am being sceptical! - they have asked the fans to put forward questions about the kind of things that they would like to know.

CSI facebook page - here.

This facebook page explains that a press conference 'should' be held next week where they will outline their plans, I assume, and will then also give some details to answer the kinds of questions being asked of them so we can get a better idea of what to expect from them.

So, my question to you guys is what would you want to ask CSI?

Let us know what your questions would be with your comments below, and of course add these to that list on facebook too, whilst on facebook check out the Vital Pompey facebook page - here too...

The current hoard of questions seem to be related to the stadium, bringing in players and reviewing the youth set-up, which I must agree is our main priority as fans at the minute. Hopefully we will get some answers soon as that may rest some nerves, and also show that the owners are willing to co-operate with the fans.

I would ask them. Do you intend to buy the Car Park land around Fratton, and if so ,do you see the potential of building a new ground on that site, whilst still playing in the existing stadium, until the new stadium is complete? You can then demolish the old and possibly rebuild a sports centre come leisure park area with bars and restaurants owned by the club, therefore massively increasing matchday income. It would bring in income 7 days a week.

All about stability I suppose - will the CVA be paid off early? Is the Premier League the immediate goal? Will the manager be given a fair chance to prove himself? Has Jason taken all of the Petty Cash?

How will they ensure that the past does not catch up on us? i.e. we do it again!!

As this has been a protracted takeover, I'd hope that they were well into negotiations about the surrounding land. It would be nice to know how those negotiations are going and if they have had any dealings with the Gaydamaks before? Have they sorted out any wage structure with Cotts/Lamps? What is the process is for signing new players? How long do they envisage being in control of the club?

Pompeyfrippy, I would ask them not to cooperate with the fans, it should be the other way round. In fact I'd ask them for the next 6 months to tell the fans absolutely feck off! I would ask them to concentrate on their job of rebuilding the club and team and not to waste time on a bunch of jumped up interfering wannabe club owners. I would ask them to make a monthly statement. I'd also ask them to make it clear that when the club regularly gets 17+ thousand attending they'll look at a new stadia project; in the mean time the " fans" should get real.

would not entirely tell the fans to feck off russ, but in many ways agree with what you say. like i have said before if people meddle too much it could do more harm than good...
as for the stadium all i would again say is WHY!

Having a nice new lush stadium is great, but deep down, real fans will turn up in our present stadium if the football is entertaining and the results good. The problems with snack bars and ameanities for fans could be easily improved for not a lot of money. The would not be perfect obviously but slowly and surely is the way. Let's start with the playing staff in conjunction with the ground surrounding the stadium. If we get that right, then we can start dreaming!

Vital Pre-Match - League 2, 27th September

The 2016-17 season continues with the latest round of matches this midweek, which will see us among those having a match in this upcoming schedule with three-points the aim of course.

Tranmere loan for Tollitt

Ahead of the weekend win over Barnet, which probably wouldn't have been a game he was involved in anyway, Ben Tollitt was sent out on loan to Tranmere.

All deserve the plaudits for that performance

I think that's a fair assessment from Cook, some played a little better than others but Barnet was a very good team performance from Pompey even if it wasn't 'really' a 5-1 scoreline.
