Vital Football

That's all folks!

That's all folks!

My work with Vital Pompey is done; today will be my final day...

Not for good mind! Hay, I heard those groans from some of you!

As if you could get rid of me that easily! I am simply going away for a week to enjoy a much-deserved break, some would dispute these claims I am sure...

I very much doubt I will get much t'internet connection where I am, I know that there is certainly no wifi in the house, any time I can find to go online just down the road will simply be to check my email and attend to any 'essential' behind the scenes work I do with Vital.

I say a 'deserved break' but what I am doing is hardly a break in many ways!

I am off to the mountains of North Wales so it is time for me to forget everything and go climb these day-in-day-out for a week!

As paultsmouth is already away, returning soon though I think, I leave you in the capable hands of eastneydave and Chix who will all hopefully keep you up to date with any goings on at Fratton Park, although to be honest I doubt that many of us are expecting much to go down in the next week, are we?

So, see you in a week, do think of me trekking up a different mountain each day on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before I go home on the Saturday!

Keep your fingers crossed too I actually do make it back in one piece and not several...

thanks Gandor, i am sure that i will - never felt fitter in my life since i have been with trina. eating much more healthy, regained my passion for cooking from scratch again (healthily too), exercising alot more, doing loads of walking and cycling and drinking hardly anything!
now to see if this new found fitness gets me through the next week...

Enjoy Rug, although there is something in The News on the takeover with Lampitt tomorrow and news on the Norris move, so could be a bit of work for eastneydave and Chix there.

Strange choice of words Dave 'great break' as he's mountain climbing ;-) Seriously, have a good time, Rug. There's no way I could climb a mountain, let alone a mountain a day.

No More Quarter Final Replays For Pompey

Should Portsmouth progress through to an FA Cup quarter final from the 2016/17 season onwards, the game will no longer be subject to a replay.

On this day in history...27th May

A look back at this day in history, and what was happening with Pompey courtesy of our sister site PompeyRama, 27th May.

Chesterfield's O'Shea targeted

Although so far Pompey have had two bids turned down for Chesterfield's O'Shea. Will, assuming another bid (as it's expected) is made, it be third time luck for the Blues?

It wasn't Real Madrid but Bristol City isn't bad!

Contrary to what I just wrote (muppet that I am) this isn't at Fratton this is at Ashton Gate with Pompey heading to Bristol City on Saturday 30th July, with a 3pm kick-off.
