What does the future hold for...Pack?

There can be few clubs with such a history of squad rotation as Pompey.

This summer, as with the past 2-3, I would suspect that 'most' will be wondering where their future lies.

Although unlike some other years some players under contract at least 'should' have a better chance of remaining where they are, as long as this is what they want!

If this is what they want, and it is a financially viable option for us, lets hope this is what they get...

Marlon Pack

Pretty much as with Tom Kilbey - see his article on the link below.

For me as good, if not better, than some I suspect that we will be moving for this summer but would have been on a fraction of what they will be paid!

Surely it would make sense to keep him because he seems to have enough ability to make him a decent squad player at least. Richard Hughes was good enough for this for a decade so why was Marlon Pack discarded so soon when he is arguable his equal even at a much younger age!

Another youngster, and local at that, being shown the door without being given a chance really is something that I find disappointing to be honest, quite clearly his future lies away from Fratton...
