'If It's Football, It's Vital'

What does the future hold for...Hughes?

There can be few clubs with such a history of squad rotation as Pompey.

This summer, as with the past 2-3, I would suspect that 'most' will be wondering where their future lies.

Although unlike some other years some players under contract at least 'should' have a better chance of remaining where they are, as long as this is what they want!

If this is what they want, and it is a financially viable option for us, lets hope this is what they get...

Richard Hughes

Thoughts pretty much mirror those for Mikey Brown although with around a decade of good money earned from this club a greater lack of loyalty and willingness to 'do what was right' towards the club by Richard Hughes has left an even bitterer taste in my mouth and I find it criminal...

He may have never been anything more than a squad player but, all in all, he had almost always been treated well by the club, getting bloody good money, and was treated well by the fans and respected for his qualities even if they were limited.

Destined for the football scrapheap it would seem, his future is certainly away from Fratton...

A long slow decline would sum it up I guess- the other way of putting it - quite frankly who gives a fark

From Hughes it would be slow..

He'll hopefully make his way out of the door marked 'exit', albeit in a very backwards and sideways maneouver (he's not programmed to go forwards).
