'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Outcast still has options, apparently...

I know that some opinions are differing on how we 'could' or 'should' treat 'contract rebels' Mikey Brown and Richard Hughes.

By treat, I do not mean as a club I mean as fans.

Lots has been said about both but for me the way I see it is both could have just agreed to waive the clause and seen out their contracts actually playing football as well as getting paid for this.

This did not happen, and I do not buy into the whole 'it was too complex' rubbish, and they opted to see out their contracts sat on their backsides! That is inexcusable for more, especially as far as Hughesy goes given his long-term with us.

According to 'reports' on sky sports Hull and Boro have not been put off by Brown's situation and will be making offers to him this summer.

To be honest I am somewhat surprised that clubs are still interested in the guy as he is an aging footballer who has gone half a season without any football and seen a couple of moves fall through over his wages.

Whatever happens getting the high wages of someone off the bill that has no interest in being here is the thing I most look forward to this summer...

It's fair to say we have NOT missed you. Good luck either side you have him and his wages

Good riddance to the freeloader, I seriously hope his career dwindles out from here. He had the chance to be a hero, to prove football was his passion, but instead showed greed.

I agree. I hope they are both too fat and old to play football now. They new the score and would undoubtedly have understood. I wonder if they spent half a season doing charity work; serving at help the aged, Cancer Relief, Meals on Wheels etc . . . . . Cheats.

Good Riddance to the pair of them. Hardly a step up for Brown and I think Hughes will either get a Div 1 team or Scots team at best.

Just a couple of lazy shi-ties get rid of bad rubbish. Hughes to div2 brown to a future of more red cards.

Used to rate him, however he showed his true colours, hope he signs for someone who deserves him like Barnet or Yeovil, i do apologise to followers of those clubs!!
