What does the future hold for...Flahavan?

There can be few clubs with such a history of squad rotation as Pompey.

This summer, as with the past 2-3, I would suspect that 'most' will be wondering where their future lies.

Although unlike some other years some players under contract at least 'should' have a better chance of remaining where they are, as long as this is what they want!

If this is what they want, and it is a financially viable option for us, lets hope this is what they get...

#37 Darryl Flahavan

When I heard 'rumours' of him arriving last summer I was more than happy and to be honest I said that I would have taken him over Paddy Ashdown, at least as the no.1...

Do I still think this?

Well I cannot say, as Darryl Flahavan - at the time of writing this - has not even played, that said all in all Paddy has had a good season.

Flahavan has been happy enough on a month-to-month contract, would he be happy on such a deal again next season, and as the potential no.2 again?

I think we would have to show a little more and offer the stability of a yearlong contract for this though to be honest.

Another though could easily go either way and is very much 50:50. Perhaps this is again based more on what I would be happy with than what will actually happen, but I would say his future lies at Fratton...

Q; what does the future hold for Aaron whatflamenhappen? A usual mixture of fowl ups, dropped shots and the odd cracking save. Same ol same ol, no one wants him, we cannot afford a replacement- deal done me thinks

One year deal, has been loyal this season and would be a poignant moment if and when he were to make his first team bow.

I'd like him given a go this season. and if he is happy with the terms he has been on then fine carry on

Should have been given a go, Ashdown at times was really poor in all aspects of his game.
