There can be few clubs with such a history of squad rotation as Pompey.
This summer, as with the past 2-3, I would suspect that 'most' will be wondering where their future lies.
Although unlike some other years some players under contract at least 'should' have a better chance of remaining where they are, as long as this is what they want!
If this is what they want, and it is a financially viable option for us, lets hope this is what they get...

With another 2-years left on his 3-year contract signed last summer there seems no reason for him to move on really?
That said one final 'payday' and the lure of ending his career in better climes and riches in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia, Australia or America could appeal to him?
If any offers came to him I cannot see the club denying him this move and being allowed to leave on a free would probably be granted?
The King still has that magic although his powers are waning all the time now with his aging body struggling to give us what I think we should be getting from someone being paid as much as he is, even if it is much less than it could have been but for the contractual compromise.
£10k a week for 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes here or there, and not necessarily in every game, is a pretty poor return for that kind of money...
Would we even manage this from him as often next season as we have this?
This could go either way for me but I tend to lean towards us having at least one more year from him at Pompey so his future lies at Fratton...
