The top 6 + Reading (Trevor Senior a name from the past), Crewe, Notts County, Orient, Swindon and Norwich. A long list today

7 for me starting in 1980 at home to Crewe, our promotion season out of Div 4. In recent years vivid memories of stuffung Derby 3-0 as we went for promotion in 1993. The ridiculous loss at home to Sheff Wed who were bottom, a win would have given us promotion & a weekend to party but we blew it & had to wait a few days to celebrate. Then three prem games with various teams & implications. Brum we needed to win as were fighting relegation. Arsenal was just fun & Newcastle was a week after winning the semi against WBA and again party time.

Boro on for me,
Russellm
Blimey all those home games - Norwich Hiron got 4 aided by new strike partner Bill Atkins, Swindon, Leyton Orient, Notts Co, Crewe, Reading Trevor Senior's only league goals against the club he became a hero at, Arsenal and Newcastle. I make that eight!
eastneydave
Actually gotta disagree with Matt for once - Arsenal fun? That was a vital point in the Great Escape!! Lua injured his ankle doing his somersaults too.
eastneydave
surprised, but none for me here...
