The last 2 home games with a important win & rare win under the perrin reign, over Charlton & Barnsley in 1994.

Loads - let's think Cov in 1966 (that was agreat win over high flyers) Carlisle in 69 and Watford Good Friday 70 (I think we were off to Bristol City the next day) Palace, Bradford City and Charlton where Alain Perrin showed as a manager he could attack sending on striker after Charlton equalised and got his reward.

Didn't go to Watford in 07 but how are the mighty fallen? Beat Manyoo on Saturday and lose at bottom placed Hornets on the Monday - such a woeful performance I remember the pub emptying at half time!

Having marked his Pompey debut with a goal - within 10 minutes for the reserves against Exeter - Jamal Lowe was on the bench to face Leyton Orient and came on at half time.

Riley Explains Postponements

It doesn't happen often in the Premier League or Championship thesedays, but League's 1 & 2 still suffer the odd postponement owing to the weather and Mike Riley...

Finest in the Football League

I don't hide how highly I rate Chaplin. I feel he's the best striker in league two - better than most in league one. Cook said he is the best goalscorer outside the Premier League.
