'If It's Football, It's Vital'

De Laet to return? Get it done!

Previously I have said that 'if' we could get Ritchie de Laet back at Fratton on loan next season we should look to do this.

Today the on loan Manyoo man has 'opened the door' to this...

Although he still wants his long-term future to be at Old Trafford de Laet has today told The News that if he can get a new deal sorted out with Manyoo and they would then let him come back to Fratton on loan again he is more than happy with this to happen.

I would accept this no questions asked, so if it can be done lets do it.

This is another encouraging sign for me, and half the battle is at least won - he is willing to return to Pompey, now all we need to do is make this happen!

I will not say too much more on this issue to be honest as there will be another article about him, and his Pompey status, later this week/early next week anyway...
