Pompey v Norwich - changed for TV

Pompey's game against Norwich, at Fratton, scheduled for Saturday 30th April has now been moved so it can be shown live on sky sports.

This will now take place on Monday 2nd May.

Luckily I had not arranged my travel for this game, although unluckily this 'probably' means that plans for my other half to go with me on this visit to Pompey, so she could spend some time with my family in Cosham, will be scraped due to her work commitments.

Full info, as issued on the official Norwich website, can be seen below...

Royal Wedding Weekend, but a shame, as the crew I go with usually like to make a good old day of it and enjoy the sunshine/beer garden! Shame that my last season ticket game won't be on a Saturday. PUP

Oh just great! I could go to the game at 3pm on the Saturday and then go to work but I can't go on the Monday night as I start work at 7pm. Thanks Sky.

.....and it ruins plans for the proposed 'Fans Day' too!!

Blame the "Fat Controller" Murdoch...it's the MONEY stupid, nothing else matters :-)

To be fair though it is a nice way to end a second double bank holiday weekend! Saturday would have been better, but normally by the Monday evening I am bored.

Isn't this Monday a bank holiday? Which means that fans day could go ahead anyway, couldn't it? I suppose the football money has to be welcomed?

Yes it means money for club, especially as they have my money and I can't go. (Yes I know it's peanuts in comparison but it's very annoying!)
