Firstly, happy birthday to Lassana Diarra, probably one of the best players we had, if only briefly. The last 3 games for me. 1987, another great player Paul Mariner, who was with us for the end of his English career. He then went out to play in Malta & saw him play & score out there. The West Ham game in 1990, me & a mate had problems getting there. Got to Upton Park with 40 mins gone. We were 1 down & all the turnstiles were closed. A policeman got us in for free. 2001 saw a young Steve Lovell score a cracking goal during what was a dire season.

Some great names scoring goals, not sure about Derek Showers clasifying as great. Nice to see Jeff Hemmerman and Matin Khul there though

Bristol City, Hull, Torquay, Carlisle and Leeds - all that and only one win!!
