'If It's Football, It's Vital'
Here we go again. Two and two equals...
The News is today running an article that implies 'Russian banker Roman Dubov could be waiting in the wings to attempt to buy the club.'
They start their article by saying 'he's rich, he likes to try to buy football clubs, and he's just named Pompey as his favourite.' They follow this by saying 'now some are wondering whether Russian banker Roman Dubov...' etc. etc.
Their 'source' said: 'there has been some talk of him and his business partner being interested in the club, as his deal with the Cherries didn't come off. With Pompey you never really know what's going on so I guess we'll all just have to wait and see.
'It would be interesting to see whether they want the club and if they've got real money, not just loans, to invest in the club and the team.'
David Lampitt has 'no knowledge' of an interest: 'I have absolutely no knowledge whatsoever about Mr Dubov. I have not been contacted by them.'
I 'think' that Levi Kushnir was in London recently, I also 'think' that Dubov and co were in London, two and two put together to come to this conclusion?
Well I will leave that to you to decide...
I am sick to the stomach of 'takeovers' and cannot say that I will have much to say on anything, and what 'prospective owners' could bring to the table and will have little, I think, to say until whatever 'could' or 'might' happen actually does happens.
What I would say is that 'if' there is a potential owner out there, perhaps Dubov is this owner, so long as the look to run the club the right way then so be it, bring 'em on.
For me, even though it might not seem like it, the way we are actually running the club at the moment is, in many ways, the way we need to do it as we get ourselves back on our feet.

In relation to you recent post. We would like to ask you review comment made by yellowcheesemonkey:
"Dubov is wanted in russia for fraud. ran off to live in israel, is a director of Group Menatep along with Leonid Nevzlin and Mikhail Brudno, who own 60% of the former Yukos empire whose chairman, Mikhail Khorodorkovsky is wanted in russia on various charges including, apparently, an alleged murder."
It is a different person, nor Mr. Roman Dubov. We would like to ask you to remove this post as it misleads and complicate life of many people.
