Derby twice for me. Hull in 1967 was played at Highfield Road Coventry sadly I couldn't make it but it was one of the famous Pompey FA Cup stories.

The last 3 home games for me. The gut cruncher was losing at home to Bristol City when we chasing promotion. We were chasing west ham for automatic second place & BC were in the bottom 3 & ended up relegated. we of course finished 3rd & didn't get promoted!!!

Brentford, Millwall ( attempt) and Derby, was abroad for the games after that. Had a cracking beer with some Millwall boys in the anciant pub The George on Borough High st. We got so hammered we could hardly talk let alone walk, landlord put the game on the radio and I seem to recall TV. Didn't get to work until Tuesday- back then that was worth some respect!
