Brighton onwards for me, I had intended to continent Blackpool game but I couldn't get the hairstyle I wanted in Pompey so went to London - oh dear. Found a car park in Soho-£10 overnight til 08.00 - Bargain. Mate and I went to a club slept in the car woke up got to exit at 08.04 - £46 exit fee- miserable drive home in my GTE - with hand operated sun roof . In black - cos IT DOESN'T SHOW UP the dirt.... we didn't say DOH! in those days

Oh the pathetic surrender as holders of the FA Cup to Swansea. What a very sad day as the realism hit home. Tony Adams up down like a Basil Fawlty, he should have been sacked after that game.

Oxford 1970, Charlton, Blackpool and Brighton. Memory of Charlton as I went in a geniune rally car strapped in to the cockpit with navigator's lamp and all.

Third time lucky? Nope as O'Shea interest ends

O'Shea saw a couple of bids for him put in; these were turned down by Chesterfield. A third bid hasn't come from Pompey and it isn't going to either.

Topping last seasons tally the aim

78pts was only enough for a play-off place last season so you suspect we'll have to better that for a top 3 finish this coming season, which begins with Carlisle at Fratton.
