Fancied a win but its snow good

'Pompey would beat Scunthorpe', not my vote, yours - although these findings from pompeyrug's poll are thoughts I agreed with as I felt that we would win what would have been a tough game, now if only we could have beaten the snow!

Confidence was high with more than ¾'s of the opinion that we would win today; unfortunately the only winner was the snow as this prevented a ball from being kicked at all.

Quite literally the only winner - despite the fact that this prevents injuries to anyone and gives those nursing knocks an extra week to recuperate and also gives us a little breathing space for Mikey Brown and Richard Hughes - was the weather as who, lets be honest, else is happy that no game has been played if you are a Pompey or Scunny fan?

I travelled, but would have regardless as I had family to see before Christmas, although I wanted a game too!

Financially this is a MASSIVE blow as we cannot afford to keep losing the revenue from games being called off, as not all who would have made this will make the rearrangement will they as it is 'probably' going to be a midweek date - so, that means a refund needed for some - like the Burnley one.

It seems like an age since we last had a home game, as this is now back-to-back Fratton postponements - my next one will not be until the New Year now and Hull, as no train on Boxing Day means no Millwall game for me, assuming that even goes ahead...

  • What the poll asked - Pompey v Scunthorpe

  • How you voted - Pompey win 78%
    Scunthorpe win 12%
    Draw 10%

Before we move on what are your thoughts on what the last poll concluded? You know what to do, thoughts below please guys...

went down cosham this morning to get some supplies and went for a fry-up with my cousin then dropped some shopping into my other cousin and saw the kids its been a 'sulking' afternoon other than that tho...
off out with my other cousin for a few jars tonight tho, so it could have been worse and at the end of the day i do get to see my family here before christmas, which is more than the rest of my family can say so i cannot really moan can i?

Went down with 2 friends for the Hospitality then wham someone phoned to say it was off when we were already on the Fratton bound train. Watched Sunderland in Wetherspoons and then we returned. I rang the club and they informed me it wasn't the pitch but the surrounds and that mean't the police and Safety stewards were involved in the decision. Still I will get a refund, but no Pompey game for me this time coming over from Australia.
