'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Priske Released

Brian Priske has told TV2 of his disappointment after being told he can leave Portsmouth.

Alain Perrin brought the player to the club and Harry Redknapp (who played Priske towards the end) has decided he has better options.

Priske said, ''I would have liked to have known before we went on vacation,'' he told TV2.'

'Then I could have started looking already. Now it is only 14 days left until the season starts.'

Richard Duffy and hopefully Glen Johnson will become the favoured two right-backs next year.

******* terrible time to be told. If it was the case, he should have been told at the end of the season.
FEn_100
yer but they may have been waiting on johnson ageeing to sign

Still not right though is it? Doesn't help us sign players when we are known to treat players like that.

Pi$$ poor treatment by Pompey! We need to release that to$$er Jackastorrie not players that gave there all to the cause, what has he done? Once again Mickey mouse Pompey, mickey fing mouse!

Another self-inflicted wound if all is true. I doubt he is a big earner & is a value to the squad. He did his bit & stuck with us. Shameful treatment.

This player gave 100% to Pompey's cause in staying up. He a better all round player than Griffin. Duffy has no Premiership experience. So unless the Pompey board of Directors have something up there sleave like Glen Johnson we have taken a backward step defensivly We have treated this Danish International appauling. Good luck Brian thanks for all your effort last season.

Another fabulous piece of work by the Pompey management team, congratulations now every fringe player at the club will be looking over their shoulder to see if they are next, looking at/for offers which offer better safety etc. Incredible.

Dont believe all you read. It now appears that Priske ALREADY has a place lined up with another club, and has already been in talks. If so, and if he has only just found out, how come he already has a team to move to???? Also, Milan has reportedly sent a reminder to Priske that he IS STILL a pompey player, so needs to discuss his future plans with pompey first. All of a sudden doesnt this story seem to have truned 180 degrees with Priske being the one wanting to move on?
Knobber
What a shame. He's a good lad and a great player. He deserves better than this.
