Up And Adam

Up And Adam

Harry Redknapp has told Pompey Pages that he wants to use Tony Adams to inspire his side next year.

Pompey's boss said: 'As far as Tony goes, I think everything's more or less agreed as far as I know.

'Tony was a fantastic player and a great captain. I'm sure he'll have a lot to offer as a coach.

'I've always liked him. I think he can bring a lot to the club.
'That's why I've given him a chance to become involved.'

Tony Adams joining the club could also play a big part in persuading Sol Campbell to join from Adam`s old club Arsenal.

A fantastic signing and could prove to be the most decisive of the season.

Let's hope he can help attract some top players. A giant in his playing day.

I think your 100% spot on FEn. We have needed a defensive coach for far to long now.

Bring out the flags and thw whistles you have signed a defensive coach, not sure how he is going to help sign top playes but if he can reduce your goal defecit by say 25 next season he will have done his job.

Well green giant, i think his contacts within the world game from the 66 games he played for England (many as captain), and the stature he holds from being (i think) Arsenals most successful captain and centre back may be ONE reason he may helpto sign top players.
