Feynoord Speak To Johnson

This has come from Feyenoord regarding the future of Glen Johnson-

'There has been a small misunderstanding,' explained Feyenoord director Chris Woerts, this comes after claims that the Chelsea palyer thought PSV were the club interested in him and was going to head back to England when discovering this was not the case.

'But it has been repaired quickly and, after that, Glen Johnson has stayed the whole day at Feyenoord and is really not returning quickly to England.

'The player was very impressed with the stadium.

'He visited the changing rooms and also visited the city.

'After that, he had a meeting with Feyenoord coach Erwin Koeman, who specially returned from holiday for him.'

Vital Pompey is still expecting the player to sign for us despite this but who knows with Pompey. There will be a brief statement from Glen Johnson in the next couple of days regarding his future, read it here exclusively.

Anyone heard of a saying called "Dont Shoout the Messager?"
GreenGiant13
I hope you're right Les, I'd prefer to hear news on a couple of strikers as I think with Priske and Duffy we already have cover in this position.
bluedr
how the hell would you know mate?
lmatthews
i don't think it will be a great loss if we lose johnson, priske proved he could do a good job in the premiership, good at going forward for the crosses,i will be very happy to see him start everyweek.
iowblue
by the way the "how the hell do you know mate?" does not refer to bluedr but a comment that was deleted!
lmatthews
He will come here. Why would he want to go there and play with a bunch of foreigners when he can stay in england and fight for his international spot. I don't think we have to worry about them. It was probably just an excuse to go for a day out.
POMPEYMEV
He'll be playing for a big fish in a small pond, like going to Scotland & playing for Celtic. F*ck him if that's what he wants. Move on to the next possible player.
storagematt
i don;t blame him for listening but these quotes are not accurate, they suggest that he has been out there for a while, well he picked my cousin up on thursday
lmatthews
If he goes there, then good luck to him. it just shows his lack of ambition and he'll end up a journeyman like jeffers did.
FEn_100
Jeffers, there is a player we've not been linked with yet!!! Quick offer £8m for him.
storagematt
lololol matt
FEn_100
