A Signing Finally But...

A Signing Finally But...

Some time in the next week Portsmouth will announce their first signings. Portsmouth are yet to sign any one although that is all set to change.

This week will see the announcement of the new coaching staff at Portsmouth. At least two coaches including an assistant manager are set to be announced at Portsmouth. One of these is expected to be Tony Adams who is thought to have successfully negotiated a contract with Peter Storrie.

Les I thought you gave up... Well mate at least you have said nothing this time, Tony Adams is a pretty safe bet I suppose.

Adama has already been to an F.A. sports management talk given by Sir Clive Woodward. He was accredited as being their as Asst. manager of Portsmouth F.C. ????

Didn't read that in a News of the World exclusive, were their any comments to back this up? Something along the lines of "Hello Sir Clive, nice talk mate." would back up FEn's story. I have heard that the second coaching position up for grabs is a new player development role and the requirement is that the applicant must be able to sucessfully handle a large volume of new players.

Where are the quotes Les? You said you'd only post stories with quotes.

I apologise Les, no need for quotes when you lift a story straight from the OS. "The management and Harry Redknapp have put together a professional coaching infrastructure, to be announced early next week."

a quote was an example of why i would post a story, if i get something from a reliable source or the OS then i will still post that!

Leave Les alone everyone. Stop nagging him about his articles. If he stopped posting them you would all soon moan. Sounds good les, lets hope it happens.

Let's hope the new management team get a chance to work with some new players and the best of the old ones from last season.

Solving that goalie quandary

I'm not sure our problem with finding a 'regular' no.1 last season was behind our failure to gain promotion from league two was it? Clearly it didn't help mind.

Pompey's attacking intent

Something Pompey (attacking intent) will look to show next season to get out of league two once and for all. Smith came in from Swindon last week but Cookie wants another striker.
