Exclusive Interviews

Vital Pompey is proud to announce some exciting exclusive interviews between now and the end of the season.

Peter Storrie- Peter will talk to vital Pompey about the signings we have made in the transfer window (should be a quick interview!)

Glen Johnson- Vital Pompey will be given a quick statement from the player either Monday or Tuesday. (Is he signing on loan or permanent? Will West Ham make a late offer?)

Gary O`Neil- Gary will be talking to Vital Pompey before the season starts about life at Fratton and to collect his Vital Pompey player of the year award.

Dean Kiely- He has my email address and will be keeping Vital Pompey informed towards the end of the season, regarding what he will do at the end of it. (Possible coaching role? Another year?)

Peter Storie speaking exclusively that will be a first, GJ should be signed first, he could be a little tongue tied if you don't land him, any deal will be well announced including whether its a loan or otherwisw. Who cares about a retiring goalkeeper but if you get GO'N that will be quite interesting. Good luck les.

Nice work Les. I hope we do land johnson, he's quality. I think you should convince Gary O'neil to become a member and get his say.

I hope you're not having a chat with P.S. tomorrow les, lol. As you say, will be a quick chat eh? Not to worry though, we've got the best (sic) wheeler dealer in the business, and with (allegedly) £30 mill to spend, i'm sure you'll have to spend all day with him before the season starts.

Done Deal - Walsall compensated for Lalkovic

Milan Lalkovic has become Pompey's sixth signing of the summer. A compensation agreement with Walsall was agreed that has seen the former Chelsea winger join the Blues.

Solving that goalie quandary

I'm not sure our problem with finding a 'regular' no.1 last season was behind our failure to gain promotion from league two was it? Clearly it didn't help mind.

Pompey's attacking intent

Something Pompey (attacking intent) will look to show next season to get out of league two once and for all. Smith came in from Swindon last week but Cookie wants another striker.
