Halford stays for another month

The loan of Greg Halford has been extended for another month.

This loan would have ended this week, and the 25-year-old gone back to Wolves, but as it has been extended he can now feature against Barnsley at the weekend.

I think the guy is doing a decent job, and his throw-in - when he is not foul throwing - is a real weapon, as are his free-kick and to be honest delivery from out wide when he gets it right.

Yep, all in all, I am happy to have him back as it gives us another option but at the same time I would not have been unhappy with Joel Ward returning at right back.

Then again - all being well - he is our 'long-term' future anyway...

He adds a much needed dimension to the team, and is a great worker. I'd be pushed to say he's been one of our star performers this season.

Ward has been at fault for a LOT of goals. He's game and one for the future but his inexperience has been very costly. Give him a year or two. I'd like to get a full-time RB in so he can go on loan. Halford is classy I think, shame we no can keeps.
