'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'We Were Never Interested'

Vital Pompey can reveal that all Portsmouth websites (baring a couple) have all been taken for mugs!

Although we didn`t get together and make up this story we did all believe the Romanian media.

Pompey-fans.com where the first to reveal that Radoi would sign for Pompey. This came after reports in Romania said that we had clinched a deal to sign the "fantastic" defender. However Vital Pompey can confirm to you exclusively that Pompey weren`t even interested in the defender.

Peter Storrie has told vital football that "We were never interested."

With respect, do we beleive the source? Surely anybody would say this to cover the disapointment of not getting the player? And anyway, who really cares. The press, fueled no doubt by lots of stupid websites, will link us with everybody before the end of the season.

Mirel Radoi is a excelent player and he is too good for a team like Portsmouth. I'm sure that Portsmouth don't have a player like Mirel Radoi and in maximum one year you will see him at a big team in Europe.

Les, you really don't understand. You are nieve because you are so uncritical of statements from one source, yet claim to disbelieve another source after you have used them as a source for a story. Before you post another 'exclusive' why not ask some questions about where the story has come from, who are the quotes from, are the quotes real, why are people saying what they are saying, do you believe them etc etc.

What does this say?

How? Because i've read the stories on this website. All you do is recycle stuff from other sites and the print media. You don't bother to check any quotes, or critically assess their worth. If you had done this Radoi stuff would never had got so hyped.

for Sheer Class: Contacted by GSP.ro, Portsmouth public relations officer Helen Wood denied the existence of any comment made by any of the English club's representative in connection with Radoi's transfer. 'Nobody from Portsmouth has made any comments in connection to this transfer, regardless of press comments. According to our club's policy, we could not even comment the speculations about the Radoi case', Helen Wood has said exclusively for gsp.ro. According to VitaFootball.co.uk, Peter Storrie, executive president of Portsmouth stated: 'We were never interested in Mirel Radoi'.

For those interested, Radoi is a very good player. He is the player who stays at the foundation of the Romanian team Steaua Bucharest who managed to reach the semi-finals of the UEFA cup this season. He is a young but experienced player that can always be relied on. In fact most of the Romanian media is disappointed that he leaves (or not?) Steaua. If this transfer goes ahead, all of Portsmouth fans will see that he is a top class player with a strong character.

How very dare you! I don't believe any of it anymore. I'm fed up of getting my hopes up. Rumours are so easy to start. Here I got 1. I heard yesterday from a good source that micheal owen hasn't really hurt his leg. He was so excited to hear that Pompey wanted to sign him that he pretended, flew home, had an MRI scan from that dodgy doctor on the Simpsons and is down FP today talking to HR for a 31 year deal until the end of the 2037/38 season. How goods that. You heard it here first. But i'm sure the news of the world will have it by sunday.

I was able to read a lot of rubbish and insults on this forum already. It's a pitty that a conversation about signing a player is going that direction. Anyway, as a Romanian, and not even a Steaua fan, I wish Portsmouth to do better next season and to sign a few good players this summer. Please come and visit a beautiful country and I'm sure you'll feel welcome and safe. Beer is cheap and of a better quality than you might think/expect. Women are very good looking. Romania is not just about orphans and gipsies is far more than that. Go on Portsmouth!
