Pompey To Sign 'Fantastic' Defender


Mirel Radoi will sign for Pompey this week after the president of his club Steaua Bucharest tried to cover up the deal.

Mirel Radio is a defender and very good one at that! He is just the type of solid defender we need.

The player is expected to sign this week. With the president of his club saying;

'Tomorrow (Weds) we will see for sure, but in principle the transfer of Mirel to Portsmouth will be complete. The contract is for three years,' Becali is quoted as saying.

I have a friend in Romania and he has told me we will be signing 'a fantastic player.'

Hang on in there MEV, he's not signed yet, and this IS pompey we are talking about. Fingers crossed we get him though. Just think of all those romanian fans we'll gain. NICE !!
