One of the beauties of being part of the editorial team is we can post before the items are published - four home games for me 68-82. Will always remember the Lincoln game in 1982 Pompey were coasting when the fog closed right in, ref refused to call it off and the crowd played their part by singing songs that told the ref they were have no problem seeing the match!! From the Fratton End I could only see the penalty box for most of the second half!

Millwall & Baggies matches for me. To this day I still feel for Dario Silva

I heard Silva was going to compete in the Paraolympics, did anything ever come of that? Hope so for his sake, because after years in football it must be hard not to do anything with your time.

Not heard anything of Silva since the Toast item I wrote on his goal for Uruguay against Argentina in a charity match. The rumours about him making a comeback in the MLS were just that.

Here is a link to something I saw a couple of weeks ago about Dario and what has happened since his accident. He is still hoping to compete at the London Paralympics in 2012, playing football for his national team. http://southamerican-futbol.blogspot.com/2010/10/what-ever-happened-to-dario-silva.html

Hartlepool (a) - Safety first!

A win at Wimbledon made sure of a play-offs place. Technically we can finish in the top 3 but this would require an unlikely set of results from too many clubs wouldn't it?
