'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pompey Sell Striker

Stoke manager Tony Pulis has completed the signing of Vincent Pericard on a free transfer.

Pulis said: 'Vincent is 6ft 2ins, quick and has two good feet.

'He came to us at Plymouth after not too much football because of injuries. He wasn't absolutely outstanding, but showed enough to convince me there is more to come, which will hopefully be to Stoke City's benefit.'

He added: 'Vincent will be a good addition to the squad and we'll have time to get him fitter than he was for me at Plymouth.

'He's pretty big and strong but also skilful around his feet.'

I used to like Pericard and would like to wish him good luck!

Wasn't that impressive for us on loan - it'll be interesting to see how well he does for you

Well he was a very useful player for us in our promotion season. Will always remember him for his part in what were great days as a supprter. Good luck to him at Stoke, hope he scores a hatful against the scummers.

Since when can you sell a player you have released? Les, stop making stuff up! A simple check of the Portsmouth FC OS and you'd see their story about Vincent Pericard, former Pompey Striker!?!

Good luck to Vincent, he never really got over those two bad injuries but hopefully he will be a good player for Stoke and Pulis.

I'm sure he will be a good player in any league so long as he gets back to his former fitness and gets his confidence back. I hope to see him doing great things. Good luck to him.

Good luck Vincent! He was a quality player but just never regained his fitness after that injury. I'm sure one day he will be a top notch player.
