Mirel Radoi To Join Pompey?

Guys, he is worth the money if portsmouth has indeed paid it (which I do doubt). I am a Steaua fan and you can't imagine just how crucial he has been to our game this season - and what a season it has been... won the league and made it to uefa cup semifinals. He has been a fantastic player for Steaua in the past 3-4 years and I have no doubts he will be a fantastic player for the team that buys him. He plays in midfield but can also play very in the defence (he started with steaua as a central defender). I think £7mil is a bargain for a player of his skills and if he comes and plays in England and he is in good health I am sure he'll be worth double that in a year's time.

Mirel Radoi is a great player...is the best player in Division A from Romania... the price is very large for that championship ...but the player is excelent and he deserve a better club in premiership like liverpool or manchester united ...you will se you won't regret i bet on him with life

what can i say...you have to consider yourselves very lucky and happy if you will buy this awesome player.we will never forget him and he will be always our captain..

Radoi is a much greater player than your superstar Gerrard.he can play defensive midfielder,central midfielder,central defender,right back and even left back(he played left back in some games for Steaua).i wouldn't get my hopes up.He's to big for your team.he is worth more than 11 mil E and even if your club pays the sum, he won't come to play for your club.british football is mediocre.in fact, Romania hasn't lost a match against england in over 30 years.The best english teams don't even have or have to few english players in their starting line-up:Arsenal-0;Manchester-2 or 3;Chelsea-3.Liverpool-2. Radoi deserves to play fot big clubs only.Clubs like Barcelona or Inter Milan or Liverpool(if he must play in england).Portsmouth is to small a club for him.What's portsmouth's objective for next season?avoid relegation?I am really sorry but radoi cannot play for a club whit an objective such as that. For those of you who do not know Mirel Radoi i advice you to be on a look-out, cause my boy Radoi willl show you what a real football player looks like.you can watch him play with Steaua Bucharest in the 2006-2007 UEFA Champions League. p.s. in the 2003-2004 UEFA cup season Mirel Radoi(22 years old at that time) played with Steaua against Liverpool.Radoi played right back because Steaua didn't have a very big squad at that time.Radoi went from central defender to right back(even right wing back.he helped the offensive.) and he was considered player of the match in both marches.Radoi made such a good game that at one time,Gerrard,annoyed that Steaua was controling the match,bruttaly attacked the Romanian player.he could have broken Radoi's leg.Fortunately he didn't.Radoi is a strong player,with a good tehnique and a powerful shot.He is a born leader and the heart and soul of Steaua Bucharest.Most of all he is a great man.He is modest,has caracter,common sense and he respects himselh,his job and the people arround him.He is a great football player,one of the biggest,and even a bigger man.

Have some words to say...Firstly, I remember that a few years ago, when Steaua faced Southampton in Uefa Cup, Portsmouth fans gathered and encouraged our team. This was very nice, we were proud to be there. In the next game, we faced Liverpool, and even here, in Romania, we said "you'll never walk alone". These moments are unforgetable, but all this moments we lived by having Mirel Radoi on our side. About him, what could I say...For the persons which writes that they have never heard of him...Did they heard about Adrian Mutu and Cristian Chivu? Although those players have a name, it doesn't mean that they are better players than Radoi. No, Radoi is Steaua's leader, and also, one of the Romania's leaders. He did not played in Champions League nor in World Cup, but this happend after two or three maches, and here I can give for example Armenia-Romania 1-1, the game which probabbly sent us home, and Rosenborg-Steaua, another crazy game...But all matches RAdoi was the central character of the match, the leader, his evolutions were constant and very good. Comparing him with Steven Gerrard, I must say that there are some differences. Gerrard already has the name and he plays for a high-rated clubm but Radoi is not far from him. More than that, Radoi is taller than Gerrard and his passing and placement are great. In my opinion, he is the best romanian football player, and Portsmouth is not a good place for his future development, not even Steaua, but in this moment the coach and the president doesn't agree any more with his transfer. He is Steaua's nr.1 and we need him for Champions League. More than sure, he will not leave Steaua any more.
