It was Russ but one year later Yak beat Spurs and my first grandchild was born just before the game!! Other than that Watford, Hull and Burnley.

No longer a midfield option

Barton played most of his football for Pompey in central defence. He came to Fratton as a central midfielder but those days are behind him, as far as Cookie is concerned.

In an ideal world Davies would have agreed a new deal and stayed with Pompey next season but Grimsby have been able to offer him the stability of a two-year deal we couldn't.
