Pompey To Miss Out On...

Ivory Coast player Didier Zokora has reportable turned down a possible move to Portsmouth.

Tottenham are thought to be leading the chase to sign the defensive. Portsmouth identified Zokora as a possible target along with Emana. Portsmouth look set to miss out on both players now! This has added to reports that Pompey will turn there attention to Amdy Faye.

The player's agent Franck Belhassen insists the player has no desire to move to Portsmouth instead preferring a move to Tottenham.

'For sure Portsmouth are interested in Didier, but he is not interested in them,' Belhassen told skysports.com.

'I think he would be more interested in going to Tottenham than to Portsmouth.

'Tottenham are interested in Didier, but they have made no offer as yet.

'There are a number of clubs keen on Didier and we will see what happens after the World Cup.'

Unluck pomey.Dont know why you want Faye back and alos Yakuba. you be bringin back Merson Next!

They can keep Faye for all I care. His heart was not in the football it was all about money. Yakubu is a great player but if Pompey offer 15 million for him I will be very disappointed. He is not that good. If we have 15M to spend then lets go for defoe. Spurs said they would let him go for 15M. I hope we hurry up and sort out some transfers soon. We are losing out on a lot of good players by waiting. I've been a bit disappointed with our transfer campaign so far!

Another load of rubbish from an agent trying to play one club against another to push the price or backhander up. Agents take more than enough money from football as it is. SHOOT THEM i say !!!

No this time its not rubbish, he says Spurs haven't even made an offer and Pompey have been knocked back, there are alos a number of European clubs interested and a couple for EPL clubs hovering so not playing one against another. As much as I like Pompey, it was never going to happen, too wide a channel between Spurs and Pompey.

There are plenty of better clubs for him to join - i reckon he will join the Premiership though!
