Boateng instalments paid, now for Muntari!

Genoa are now, according to sky sports, up to date on their payments for Kevin-Prince Boateng.

Its said that Admin Andy confirmed that the missing payment, instalments of €3.1m (approx £2.4m), were paid during the week so that is that one all up to date.

Although we are now in dispute with another Italian club...

A payment of €1m (approx £870,000), an add-on clause from the looks of it, after Sulley Muntari played more than 80 games for Inter was meant to be paid by the end of July 2010 - although this has not been paid yet?!

The FA took our side over the Boateng issue, I wonder if they will have to take our side again and act against the Italian FA here.

These funds add up to circa 10% of the CVA money and Pompey should waste no time in getting the FA on board although it must be stated that the Italian FA have, having been through a financial meltdown, acted with sensible proposals and a decisiveness we could only dream of from the shower that run our game. Well done Italy. We were rightly criticised before for non payment and I don't get the we should not complain attitude some on here espouse; " pot calling the kettle black" I believe someone posted. These are funds that ate badly needed; belong to the club and should be in the club's account.

agreed Russell - we are in the process of sorting ourselves out and have been almost to the bottom doing it - no reason to avoid asking other debtors to stump up to us on reasonable terms

Perhaps we should try to write off that money they owe us and instead they loan him out to us! Joking! well, that would be good. Anyway, I am glad Admin Andy is taking care of these issues. I am not sure Storrieteller would have notice them!
