Milan To Leave But Not For Sc*m

Milan To Leave But Not For Sc*m

Milan has admitted that he has put money into a Slovenian side. It looks like Milan is ending his time at Portsmouth. The Pompey legend was not present during key transfer talks in Israel.

Milan has promised Pompey fans he won`t be going to Southampton!

Milan said: 'Koper were bankrupt when I became involved as a sponsor there earlier this year, and the team has done well. They've won the cup over there. I've got some control there.

'The only thing I can guarantee is that there is a certain club I will not buy. Other than that, I can't rule anything out.

'I don't know what's going to happen in the future. As far as investing in other clubs in England, I'm already at the best one, so I wouldn't want to talk about anywhere else.'

'One day it will be time for me to finish my love affair with the club, but I don't know when that will be,' he said.

'The time will come, but it's not now. I think I'll be here for the start of the season and right now I don't see why I won't be here at the end of it, but nothing is guaranteed.

'Once I see Portsmouth can do without me it will be a lot easier to go. I want to make sure Sacha Gaydamak is totally comfortable here, but I do see he is falling in love with the club,' he added.

Thanks for everything Milan!

Les, is this related to the ground development? Have you other benefactors waiting in the wings?

I agree if he dicides to leave us, good luck to him. He has made such a difference here at PFC and he will be missed if he does go.

A bankrupt Slovenian side called Koper... not exactly a blue chip investment maybe he just enjoys the challenge. I was going to suggest using the money for a long break in the Bahama's and a new pair of sunnies but after looking at a map there is a town called Kope on the only piece of Slovenian water, about the size of Portsmouth harbour. Now I see the reasoning.

The quotes don't even hint that MM is leaving, just say one day he might invest in another football club.
