Confidence well placed!

Confidence well placed!

'Pompey would beat Leicester on Friday', not my vote, yours - although these findings from pompeyrug's poll are thoughts that I did agree with, and as we know this did happen!

I would say that we all know by now that my heart virtually always rules my head and I think, or at least say, we will win every time we play - and although I was not entirely convinced, I must admit, on this occasions I did again think we would and predicted a Pompey win, I went 3-1.

We dished out quite a spanking to Leicester so the 54% that voted for this win can now give themselves a pat on the back - hand on heart though who expected us to spank them like we did!

Onwards, and hopefully upwards, now with something, at least a point, against Bristol City tomorrow, although with them being another struggling down the wrong end of the table with home advantage and off the back of the 6-1 win you would 'hope' that we can build on this and gain another 3pts...

Me too, Rug. First result I've got right, though I forecast 2-1.

PFC Blue- I always forecast 2-1, I voted for a win against the Robbins- score line 2-1. My ten pound a week bet deficit is down to £50; although if I total up season on season my debt is probably something like Pompey's. I'm worried it will be a damp squib tonight and the fans will turn again; but wth; onwards and upwards, chin up, best foot forwards into spilt milk an all that. 2-1 kitson and most importantly Nugent to bag another one.

    No Crawley return for Tubbs

Tubbs doesn't have a future at Pompey, he's on the transfer-list but offloading him could be difficult given his wages. These wouldn't be anywhere within Crawley's reach.

Pitfalls of Sheffield Wednesday loanee returning

As Catlin put it 'the gamble' of aiming sign Sheffield Wednesday loanee Lavery has to be one Pompey fans understand. It isn't as cut and dried as saying 'he's a free agent' sign him!

    Lassie coming home...well sort of!

A-box-to-box player, capable of defensive duties, with ability to burst forward with intent to make things happen - Diarra is Pompey's man and wants an England return. I jest of course!

    Will pair stay at Fratton?

It's been made (more than once) clear by Catlin Pompey want Davies & Hollands to stay. Both (also more than once) have said they want to this - deals have to be right for all concerned.
