'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Begovic saga rumbles on

I thought that the 'farce' surrounding Asmir Begovic's non-move to Spurs, which still cost us £1m, had been sorted out once and for all with the premier league 'insisting' that the payment needed to be made and would be made to Spurs by them deducting the money from our parachute payment?

Well, apparently not, as this saga drags on...

David Lampitt, as he told Radio Solent, has confirmed that an appeal is being lodged after options were considered, although this WILL NOT delay our exit from administration - which is now 'thought' to be at the start of October: 'we've considered our position and think the right thing to do is appeal.

'Whether it will have a delay, I would say no. We are still hoping that an exit from administration is around the corner.'

He would not, due to the legal implications, go into much detail as to exactly what has happened here but thinks that an 'extremely unusual financial arrangement between football clubs' will become a little clearer when the process reaches a conclusion that will give 'a bit more insight' into this bizarre deal.

Well, I wait with baited breath, not that I would expect much to change with the money still being paid...

What I would suspect is less likely now will be the arrival of Kyle Naughton from Spurs, as would they really deal with us with this situation still ongoing?

I'm not so sure SUPER SAVIOUR NAUGHTON deal will be off, it's a separate matter and suits both parties that the boy SUPER SAVIOUR NAUGHTON arrives not to mention the friendship between Redknapp and Cotterille. So I reckon that SUPER SAVIOUR NAUGHTON otherwise known by his other alias THE MESSIAH will arrive.

Of course - I might be wrong. But I think he'll come.
