Mokoena ready to extend his stay

One of the players expected to leave in the summer was Aaron Mokoena, this did not happen and he is now expected to sign a new contract to extend this stay further.

Most, according to what he told The News on Tuesday, is agreed on a new 3-year contract for the South African that just needs a few things ironed out for this to happen.

His 'love' for the club and the fact that he is 'settled' has seen Moko keen to commit to the club.

While Steve Cotterill also spoke about The Herminator following conflicting 'reports' about what his future would be.

He said that he is 'good as gold' and disagreed with his agents' thoughts so he will find a place in his 20-man squad for the returning veteran even if it means loaning out someone to do this.

So, another one of the youngsters is on his way then...
