I have nothing personal against Paul Hart, far from it, although if I were a Scum fan I would be a little worried about the future intentions of the owners...

This would be as sky sports news has just reported that their 'sources' are 'claiming' his is 'high on their list' of candidates to replace the sacked Alan Pardew.

To me that smacks of a club that are not that willing to put much more money in and are not as 'rich' as made out? Well more to the point really that in the modern era of football not too much is wanted to be put in for the return gained!

Best of luck to the guy if he makes the move - this would just compound the fact that he is a real big glutton for punishment given the jobs he has taken on in recent years, and I include his time with us too...

As far as transfers goes the latest name 'linked' with a move out of Pompey, still no arrivals, is Tommy Smith - being linked with QPR.

    oh dea so much for Marcus's family continuing his dream, if Hart comes in i'd be incredibly worried if i was a scum supporter right now, as for Hart well, he voted no on the CVA so i couldn't careless what he does

    As we all know, people who run football clubs are generally stupid, just why do they keep on wanting to prove it. Go for it scummers, Hart will be a great appointment for you and us at Pompey. If I didn't know better I would think it was April fools day, not deadline day!!

    I have quite a lot of time for Hart in the same way as cotterill... nice guys but are they up to the job? Cant hate someone for trying

    This is hilarious. Methinks there's a Pompey-supporting mole on the scummers board who has suggested they sack Pardew and hire Hart and can't believe they are falling for it. Priceless!
