My late mother's birthday and I was at five of those games including the two five goal defeats by Brum. We could have got something from both games at fratton Harry Harris hit the bar with the final kick and at St Andrews we were 3-0 down in twenty minutes with Geoff Vowden on fire but it should have been 3-3 at half time with any luck (it was 3-2), two late goals sealed our fate.

Winning thw next three games made up it though.
