Pompey get visit from the Palace

Pompey's reward for their win at Stevenage on Monday night is a home draw with fellow Championship side Crystal Palace. It is a meeting of two clubs hopefully exiting Administration.

Pompey have met Palace twice before in the League Cup. Both of the meetings in 1976 and 1982 were in the First Round with the Eagles winning both over two legs.

Ties to be played week commencing 23rd August 2010.

Bot a bad draw; if Pompey turn in good performances against Reading and Preston the crowds will go and Pompey can charge a reasonable amount.

NOT a bad draw. If course some incoming players will also boost crowds

Not a bad draw at all. But I'm confused, I thought Paul Hart was the boss at Palace, but apparently its George Burley? When did that happen, or did I make it up about Hart?
