'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Come on guys this is LINVOY!!!!

Some 3,000 tickets have been sold for Linvoy Primus' testimonial this weekend.

3,000! Surely the guy deserves more than this, right?

I know that many people are completely fed up with things at the moment and the club at the moment, and some are so disillusioned that they will not be returning this season - although some 9,000 season tickets sales is not bad going at all is it? - but Linvoy deserves something more and I do hope that tickets sales rocket in the coming days...

Linvoy is an absolute legend and deserves to see a full house as he has done - and no doubt will continue to do so much - on and off the pitch for us, as fans, and this club and if anyone is using their anger at the club, or our situation, for a reason not to be at Fratton this weekend this is sad to hear.

I am hoping that the fee that is being charged, 2 I think for some ticket sales, is putting some off and tickets will be purchased on the day instead.

In fact I am sure that this is the day and A LOT of tickets will be purchased on the gate.

As far as I know Linvoy is donating most, if not all, of the proceeds from his testimonial to charity - Faith + Football I think.

If you can make this game PLEASE do, as said this guy deserves this - it is HIS day not Portsmouth Football Clubs, so lets not lose sight of that.

That is REALLy poor! I do appreciate that lots of people are using this week to go on holiday before the new season starts, but I am with Rug. This guy is a LEGEND and opitimizes what footballer should be: A never give up attitude, playing for the love of the game, never asking for too much, and doing more than the club ask out side of the grounds.

Fratton Park should be filled 10 times over for Linvoy. I will truly be gutted on Sat if it is almost empty.

I was shocked when I heard this on the Quay last night - only 3,000 for Linvoy's Testimonial. I had this down as a guaranteed sell out, and raising the rafters with atmosphere - looks like we're set for a disappointing Saturday! C'mon, not everyone can be on holiday or working - If you call yourselves Pompey fans, get down there on Saturday. Linvoy is a legend.

I only hope that this is not a pointer towards Fratton Park attendance figures for the coming season. Their is a lot of dismay and frustration out there at the moment, the hoped for clean sweep has not taken place.

Guys come on one last push for this Pompey Legend. He deserves so much more than 3000 ticket sales. Its not good enough. For the last 10 years has not just given everything for Portsmouth as a football club but also Portsmouth as a city. Anyone who is lucky enough to have met this guy would have experienced his warmth, friendlyness and charming personality. He indeed bleeds blue blood and therefore we should repay him with a cracking turnout tomorrow.
