Ben Haim agrees West Ham move?

One of those left behind when Pompey flew off to America was Tal Ben-Haim - this was done on the understanding that he will not be here this season and would, in actual fact, be sold by the end of this week...

Well, if sky sports is right, then Admin Andy's prediction that this would be the case is right as 'a deal have been agreed' for West Ham to sign him by all accounts.

They 'claim' that a 'compromise', having previously failed to agree terms, has been reached to enable the Israeli to reunite with Uncle Avram at Upton Park, after activating his 'release clause.'

It has been 'said' this week that Ben-Haim was our highest earner last season on a contract of £38,000 per week, even though the club have previously said that £30,000 was the 'most' we were paying, along with his 'imagine right' payments.

All we now need is official confirmation of this, and in all honesty I will not be that disappointed, well actually disappointed at all, to see him leave...

That's £1.5 mill saved even if it's the lower £30k per week figure. If the cva can get approved soon things would look quite promising.

I only agree with his sale because of his wages. I would have kept him on all accounts. He is a defender that plays in all defensive positions. He would have been a useful and a very decent player for us this season in the championship!
Pompey Malta
hes too small to be a centre half and too slow to play left right back ... poor player... well done admin andy
