DA On Loan Again?

Pompey are looking at a loan deal for a year with the player signing for Pompey after that.

D'Alessandro wants to quit the German side following a successful loan spell at Fratton Park at the end of last season.

Storrie said: 'Andres is a fantastic player and we really hope we can bring him in. He's a serious option for us.

'We are in heavy discussions with Wolfsburg about the way forward.

'I'm very hopeful something can be concluded. But we will look at all our various options in that area of the pitch.'

why on loan again
green giant 12
I'd imagine a few big guns might be interested in him after the shop window performance he produced last season for you guys.
Dichio
why dont you just sign him instead of loan? You have got the money
jono_forest
" get him signed- it will be a good move"
millers4eva
is he anything like ronaldo at man u? from what ive seen of him on motd he looks like a great little player, shame about the haircut know lol

On loan means wages only, and then a lower fee next year.
FEn_100
another loan deal would send out the message that we are looking at fending off relegation again next season, and then off-loading big earners at the end
paultsmouth
It's quality signings we want not loan deals. But if that means we keep DA for another year then I would be happy for the time beinging
nelson
I think the loan deal for DA would be just like paultsmouth said. Give off a relagation vibe and it would make our club look tight fisted because everyone knows we have the money and this would make our club look cheap

NELSON WELCOME BACK! where you been? The loan deal would enable pompey to pay some of the money now i.e 1 million and the other 3 million at the end of the year. This would be good, as it will enable that three million to come out of next years budget rather than this year. Which is fine providing you get long term players in this year, which is the reason we are after mainly youngsters!

hmm seems abit silly to me it sends the wrong message completely wht must da think has he not earned a contract with us?
weh8burley
he knows we want him but his club want alot and so does he
lmatthews
But if he is on loan and has a good season with us again I could definatly see the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool, Barcelona coming in for him, he is good enough to play for them, then we have no chance what so ever. Loaning DA is a bad idea

Splash the cash Milan!
danonash
On loan makes very good sense, if he is not (yet) for sale for whatever reason, high salary but you get a high quality player for a year with no outley. Yes you have money but it can be better spent elsewhere in the next twelve months.
TeddyLyon
More speculation eh lads. Anyway,i think its a ploy by the club to get the transfer fee reduced. Wolfsburg want rid, d'ale wants out so its a matter of the whole package. Don't despair. Read about it when its done.
FEn_100
I just hope the deal doesn't come out like the Robert situation, when we were all told that we had signed him and Milan even promised he was compleatly ours but it turned out he was on loan.
Linvoy#1
Milan and Peter telling 1/2 truths, never :)
danonash
Agree that loaning saves money but if he has a bumper half season he won't be ours to sell if the bigger clubs come in for him. It's a difficult balance and sometimes you end up by pulling the wrong string.
pompeygray
He will prove himself next season if we get him. Give him a 2 year contact to prove himself and if we decide to sell him on in a few years he will probably be worth more than we pay for him. He is awesome and if pompey want to establish themselves we have to go all out on players. Hers is a gut who wants to play for us, which not mant top quality players do.
POMPEYMEV
Well no matter who wants who, if the actual player isnt 100% sure and comitted, do we want him? According to Sky Sports today, Andres has now been saying, he doesnt want to come to Pompey full time, as he feels we are not big enough and ambitious enough for him.
