The world cup continues, and the 'genuine' Pompey involvement rumbles on tonight.
We have seen several 'former Pompey players' in action since the weekend but a current Pompey man returns to action tonight, remember to follow the world cup with us over on Vital England - here - as well as right here.
Mokoena stands on the brink...
Aaron Mokoena will captain South Africa again tonight, having done so in their opening game against Mexico - a game that they 'could' have won 1-0, although one that 'probably' fairly ended in a 1-1 draw.
We have to admit that he played a part in the Mexico equaliser really, then again the defence toyed with that 'rushing out' idea several times and escaped but got punished in the end.
Victory over Uruguay tonight, who are NO pushovers, would see South Africa move onto 4pts and almost certainly take the South Americans out of the qualification equation and enhance the host nations chances of going through.
As I say a South African win would go someway to securing that place in round 2, therefore keeping up the record of the host nation never being eliminated in the group stages.
Come on Moko, do yourself, Pompey and South Africa proud tonight and play your part in helping your country to victory tonight, something that I reckon they will manage you know...
What do you think guys?
