League cup - Stevenage away!

League cup - Stevenage away!

The draw has been made, the fixtures revealed - not that we can reveal the whole lot of course - and we now know who Pompey will play in the 1st round of the league up.

Stevenage, away at the Lamex Stadium, await on Tuesday 10th or Wednesday 11th August. Bring it on; this will be a new ground for me.

As always with the league cup these days the tie MUST end on the night, even if this means extra time and penalties.

So, Stevenage it is then, and a potential giant killing in the making...

Pompey are good at that sort of thing though, so I am sure we can do it again!

Are we happy with this draw guys?

PLAY UP POMPEY!

A great draw for Stevenage - in fact probably the one they were dreaming of. Broadhall Way should be packed to the rafters and Pompey tickets on short supply too.

Let's hope we've still got a team that can match them.
