Hull look to Cotterill as well?

Hull look to Cotterill as well?

Until the outcome of the CVA creditors meeting taking place this week, although the outcome of this 'might' not actually be known on Thursday, or for a few days perhaps from what I hear - 'fingers crossed' one way of another we will know the score - we continue to be stuck in that state of limbo.

After a year of this, not that it becomes any less frustrating or easier, you almost become 'used' to it though!

This limbo state, quite obviously includes who will be our next manager - although an owner would also be 'nice', and is needed! That said who is to say an owner will want the manager that is appointed?

Anyway the 'hot favourite' remains Steve Cotterill, although 'reports' are beginning to surface that we will face competition from Hull for his services as they have added him to their own shortlist, which also includes former Pompey manager Paul Hart.

'Reports' are varying, some say that he has already undergone an interview; others say this will come this week - either way it appears there is competition for him.

Hull are themselves in a bit of trouble, at this point though they are in less trouble than us though so they would 'probably' look the more 'attractive proposition' at this point in time?

I assume that a successful CVA outcome equals Cotterill appointed at Pompey ASAP. The non-CVA agreement equals God only knows who - please not Iain Dowie!

Lets just keep those fingers crossed that we at least have an idea of where our future is going within the next 24-48 hours or so as our situation has dragged on for far, far too long now and we deserve to have some idea of where we are going once and for all...

It's only natural SC is on the list of other clubs; I'm surprised it hasn't happened earlier.

Why no talk of Phil Brown coming south?

If we are successful tomorrow, Cotterill be a shoo-in, of that I am sure, I reckon it is agreed already, remember we have location on our side!!

Vital View - League 2, 25th-26th March 2017

With Doncaster and Plymouth yet to play Portsmouth took advantage to close the gap and extend it on the chasing pack. Newport & Leyton Orient look likely to be relegated.

Video - Pompey 2-1 Newport

With Stevenage drawing and Blackpool the only potential challenger winning we've got a six point cushion on Boro that's effectively seven given our superior goal difference.
