'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Please, please stop!

In many ways, as I have said before - as have others - Admin Andy is in a 'no win situation' at times. If he says nothing he is knocked, if he says too much he is knocked for it too, but please, for the love of God can the guy SHUT UP now...

Why, oh why does he continue to talk about managers and players 'we' will sign?

It is that use of the word 'we' that surely will only increase the doubt in the creditors minds as to who he, and his administrative colleagues, are doing the best job for, right?

When referring to Pompey as 'we' this implies that PFC are the ones that he is mostly looking out for, which, lets be honest is what we want really, but UHY's job is to do the best deal for the creditors and they must have doubts about this if he keeps saying we...

Whilst the counter offer from Griffins, which has really put the cat amongst the pigeons and has left even greater doubts in peoples minds - as my recent poll shows, see below - is in no way a realistically workable proposal, especially up to 99p in the £, jeez if we could afford that repayment we WOULD NOT be in administration anyway would we! Talking FAR too much about the club as Admin Andy is will backfire on us if he is not careful.

  • What the poll asked - Do YOU, honestly, think the CVA proposal will be approved?

  • How you voted - I dunno, time will tell... 46%
Nope, Griffins have added too much doubt 32%
Yep, it is a solid proposal 22%

WHY is he talking about players we want to sign and a manager we want to bring in anyway, surely David Lampitt should now be doing this sort of talk as this IS his job, not that I think this talk should be happening full stop at this point in time - the upcoming CVA, and making sure we get the best possible outcome is the most important thing.

'Signing British' is the least of our worries at the moment, signing ANYONE is not something we can even seriously contemplate until Thursday at the earliest, or more realistically the start of July, at best, as a transfer embargo remains in place until then anyway, at the very least.

Please shut up now Andy, we do not need to be hearing this type of talk from you anymore, if we should have even been hearing talk of this type from you at any point - Lampitt put a muzzle on this media hog...

It's fine talking to potential players, but it should be the manager making the decision to sign them. Look what happened last summer when Storrie was making football decisons. If there is any news about the Administration process, we don't mind some facts, but otherwise SHUT UP ANDRONIKOU.

I remember some bloke called Lampitt. I agree Rug, leave team stuff to elusive Mr Lampitt, a man in no way related to an ever present ie Limpitt. The man came with a big fanfare so I believe there has to be an arrangement in place that see's Lampitt so quiet, and I don't think it's cos he's on his holidays. The News rarely seems to ask a quote from him. We want Admin on the CVA and Lampitt on everything else.

It's a song we've been singing for a long time. AA is acting like the owner and manager. It's time he concentrated on his remit, which is to act for the creditors and to get us the CVA.

If I were a creditor, I would not appreciate hearing from AA as to how Pompey is planning to go forward (when it might well be that I will not be, as a result of what I am owed and will never receive). The man wants to keep it shut tightly, especially in the run up to the CVA, when he is going to ask what must be some very disgruntled people to forego what is owed to them. And yes, Blue is right. He is acting for the creditors and should behave as such. If I was a creditor, I would feel betrayed by some of the stuff he is coming out with.

I wish he would concentrate on sorting out the finances. Come on Lampitt, find your voice and start communicating. If not with us, then with prospective managers. You can't buy players without a manager - i.e. every manager has his own playing styles and player preferences. Lampitt, Lumpitt or Leg it !!!
