Kirkland To Join Pompey
As I reported in an article earlier, I think that Chris Kirkland could become a Portsmouth player. I have reason to believe that Portsmouth are interested in the player but are not one of the two clubs to make contact yet.
The player's agent Colin Gordon revealed several sides have shown an interest in the goally.
'There are a couple of clubs interested in Chris,' Gordon told skysports.com.
'They are both Premier League clubs and Chris is weighing up his options.
'He is training now and is flying right now after recovering his fitness.
'Chris is ambitious and wants to be playing in the Premier League as he wants to get back in the England squad.'
'I don't think Chris will be joining West Brom as he wants to be playing at the highest level,' added Gordon.
I think it would be a great signing and would leave Pompey with three top notch keepers.

Who are the other team? Man Utd? that would be a good move for him, on a sensible note not sure about Keily, think Kirkland is a stronger keeper.

Kirkland spends more time on the physio's table than playing and has done for the last 5 years. Jeeeeez, baros as well ?????????? What next, are we gonna take over a whole wing of St. Mary's to treat them all.

I think we should take Chris on loan like West Brom did, but only until January then if he's not injured and he's been good we can sign him, but if he is injured or is just s**t in goal we can send him back to Liverpool and we won't have to pay his salery

Kirkland just keeps the bench warm. A better goalie for 1.5m would be Dudek. He has prem & CL experience so has all the qualifications to be a star at FP

No but not only is Kirkland Younger than Dudek (very old) he is an England International. Just think a few good seasons with us and we could be singing 'England number 1'

lol I think you might be right nelson. And about Ashdown, all he needs to do is learn how to kick a moving ball and he would be a really good keeper, the reason why he lost his place was because he lost confidence and that started letting the goals pour in, with the right coaching Ashdown could be Englands bench warmer
