Transfer Update One *Who will Sign*

Sunday Vital Pompey told you a fee had been agreed with Toulouse for Emana. Well apparently Portsmouth enquired and Toulouse have quoted a fee, Portsmouth are yet to accept the amount. (Although I expect them to agree to it.)

Although Portsmouth negotiated the fee and have agreed on a price for the player they want to look at other possible options first. So a fee has been agreed in “principle” but no money has yet to be offered.

The other possible option that Harry is looking at is bringing Amdy Faye back to the club. He is expected to make an enquiry for the player today but has apparently told Toulouse he will make a decision on Emana by the end of the week.

Harry is also targeting a goalkeeper and took a team of two scouts with him to watch Charles Itandje (It and Je, two keepers!) The goalkeeper would cost about three million and has impressed in the two games he’s been watched. I don’t expect Portsmouth to sign a goalkeeper for a fee and wouldn’t be surprised to see a loaned Keeper. Or a free transfer, with Chris Kirkland my hot tip to become a Portsmouth player

In defence Harry has reportable enquired about four different defenders! The only one known “for sure” is Mate. The other three are expected to be Robert Huth, Chimbonda and a French based player.

No one has picked up on the Harry meets Zigic article message and it confirms the above" Harry: "So if we offered you X would you be happy?" Them: "Yes" Harry: "Dont call us." Plus after the quoted balls up transfers, all makes sense!

Can you tell me why you "expect" them to agree to it please? Or... is this just what you think will happen?

FEn, obviously what I think but the basis is that Portsmouth have taken a step forward. Your Russian bankroll is asking what is he going to get for his money this time round, no disrespect to Benji but I hope you can see where I am coming from and it is a positive.

Morning Pompey, here is some news for you, what is the status with below, I think you guys have just offered him a new contract. No? In other news Spurs, according to the Daily Mail, are lining up a £2.5million bid for Portsmouth's defender Matthew Taylor.

It's the same every in every Transfer Window. The Mirror can't report news so they make it up.

Agree, thats why I asked if there was any news of him resigning yet, could be a "word" from his agent in an effort to bump up his new pay offer, looks to be alot more interest in the John Hartson Celtic story.
