Season tickets - early bird deadline extended

Season tickets - early bird deadline extended

The club have officially, on The Pompey Site, confirmed that the early bird deadline for season ticket renewals has been extended until the end of the month.

Many are waiting until the outcome of the CVA creditors meeting on 17th June before deciding what to do so it makes sense to extend this deadline - although ownership issues, I will be adding more on this shortly, will also play a part. Hopefully by this date we 'should' also know who the owner is?

Early Bird Extension

We are pleased to notify supporters that the early bird period for season ticket renewals has been extended until Wednesday, June 30.

This revised deadline will now apply to both ticket office and online renewals. All other dates remain unchanged (see below).

A meeting with creditors regarding the CVA proposals will take place on June 17 and the club wants to make sure that supporters have ample time to renew their seats after this.

Pompey Chief Executive David Lampitt said: "We recognise that there may be some concerns among supporters about committing to season ticket purchases prior to the outcome of the CVA meeting on June 17. We remain confident that the outcome will be positive for the club, and would urge our fans to continue to get behind the club for the coming season.

"However, in order to accommodate any possible concerns as best we can, we would like to offer our existing season ticket holders a longer period of time after the meeting in which to renew at the discounted rates."

Season tickets can be purchased online, by phoning 0844 847 1898 or in person at the club's ticket office in Rodney Road. Click here to download an application form.

Supporters wishing to change seats can only do so in person at the club's ticket office in Rodney Road. This can be done on Thursday, July 1 (9.30am-4pm) or Friday, July 2 (9.30am-4pm).

New season tickets can be purchased at the early bird rate between Monday, July 5 and Friday, July 16.

Final phase sales start from Wednesday, July 21.

Adult/senior/young person season ticket holders in the Family Enclosure must be accompanied by a junior.

Finance Options:

Supporters can spread the cost of their season ticket over three months or six months. The three-month option is interest free but there is a £20 application fee. Interest on the six-month option is set at a rate of 19.9% and there is a £20 application fee.

I'm happy with this too, to have a little more time to see what happens. What I have spotted though, is that the 'changing seats' dates have changed. Previously this included the Saturday and now it doesn't - so if I want to consider changing seats I now have to take annual leave to go down to the ticket office.

McNulty would welcome a permanent transfer to Pompey. Although the Sheffield United striker could well be part of new manager Wilder's plans, so the chances seem 50:50 at best?
