Will he stay or will he go? #35 Marc Wilson

Will he stay or will he go? #35 Marc Wilson

Introduction

To be honest with you none of us really know what to expect this summer do we? We can only 'hope' that this or that will happen, so we only really have hope, right?

Clearly our priority is to see us taken over, and by someone who will hopefully 'do right by us!' Granted this will be a businessman or businessmen who WILL want some return on this investment, that is football for you! But they do not need to fleece us for all they can!

All in all, like I say, this is going to, in many ways basically be 'guess work' and maybe some will be more ruled by the heart more than the head, a lot might have been dependant on things such as Uncle Avram staying or not I guess, and we now know that he has gone...

#35 Marc Wilson

I have been a long-term Marc Wilson follower and fan, and to be honest I think that the guy has lived up to the billing that I have often given him to be fair, right?

For me he was one of the main success stories of last season, especially after his move from central defence into a defensive midfield role that I had always said would be his best position.

Will he stay or will he go?

Go, sadly...

It is with a heavy heart that I concede defeat on this one and say that the guy will be sold.

I am pretty sire that he would stay, in fact he admitted as much recently and would not have signed a new contract otherwise would he?

He is a sellable asset and this newly signed contract 'should' add to his value.

All this said, Admin Andy did recently say that we are looking to move on other players so we will not have to cash-in on Wilson, so fingers crossed...

I think he's had plenty of poor games as well as the good, but there is still potential and he is now a squad player for his country; I suspect it won't be for big money but you are right he will go. Seems to me creditors will not unreasonably expect Admin to recoup as much as possible as fast as possible.

Davies to Tranmere as Blues close in on Thompson?

With Burgess, Clarke and Whatmough ahead of him Davies' chances at Pompey are limited, especially if Swindon's Thompson completes move to Fratton Park - Davies could join Tranmere?
