4 ressies, inc. Reynolds and Wilkinson, released

The Pompey axe has swung again with 4 reserve players released.

They are Callum Reynolds, Luke Wilkinson, Tommy Smith and Tero Mantlya.

All had featured for the reserves this season, and although I cannot say I know a huge amount about any of them Wilkinson and Reynolds being released has surprised me to be honest.

Wilkinson featured in pre-season last year in Guimarăes and had been fairly regular in the ressies whereas Reynolds was a player that I always thought would do well, as he was highly rated when he came to the club, then again that was 3-years ago.

Good luck to all of those that have been released, hopefully they can find themselves clubs - lets just hope that we are not 'proven wrong' down the line though...

Paris Cowan-Hall and Ryan Gazet du Chattelier have been offered 'month-to-month' contracts though as they recover from injuries.

I assume that both will be offered more permanent contracts if/when they can prove this fitness...

Im surprised about Smith I guess it was due to salary and injury? Or do I have the wrong smith?
