'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Will he stay or will he go? #22 Richard Hughes

Introduction

To be honest with you none of us really know what to expect this summer do we? We can only 'hope' that this or that will happen, so we only really have hope, right?

Clearly our priority is to see us taken over, and by someone who will hopefully 'do right by us!' Granted this will be a businessman or businessmen who WILL want some return on this investment, that is football for you! But they do not need to fleece us for all they can!

All in all, like I say, this is going to, in many ways basically be 'guess work' and maybe some will be more ruled by the heart more than the head, a lot might have been dependant on things such as Uncle Avram staying or not I guess, and we now know that he has gone...

#22 Richard Hughes

The guy can, and will, only pass sideways or backwards, so he is limited although he knows this and does not try to do any thing over the top.

We DO know that we will always get nothing less than 100% from Richard Hughes and that is good enough for me.

Will he stay or will he go?

Stay...

I have little doubt that Hughesy will still be with us next season, and will be happy to do this.

With all due respect to the guy, and I do have a lot of time and respect from him, clubs are not exactly going to be queuing up for him are they - plus you would think that regular 1st team football would be on for him, providing he can stay injury free.

We will need committed players that are up for a fight and/or the battle, and he would be. So, I think we could do a lot worse than having Hughesy in our squad next season, although will he be able to stay fit?
